Description
The three cornerstones of Yrjö Kukkapuro’s design philosophy are ergonomics, aesthetics and ecology. Kukkapuro’s idea is that the furniture should remain in use from one generation to the next. The Remmi Ottoman has wonderfully soft, classic Artek Zebra upholstery. The ottoman’s frame is made of durable steel painted matt black and is produced by Summanen in Lahti. All of Remmi’s parts, such as the metal straps and the cushions, can easily be repaired and renewed in line with Kukkapuro’s philosophy.
Designed in 1969, Remmi has been selected for the collections of London’s Victoria and Albert Museum and the Design Museum. It has also been voted the world’s best chair for listening to music.
The product is delivered in a plastic-free cardboard package and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The product has a two-year warranty (does not apply to normal wear and tear).
