Designed by Yrjö Kukkapuro for Haimi in the late 1960s, the 418 Armchair belongs to the same family as the iconic Karuselli armchair. The fibreglass shell carries the flowing form language characteristic of Kukkapuro, while the base structure gives the chair a light, almost floating appearance.
