The visual appearance of the CNC chair collection is a continuation of Yrjö Kukkapuro’s postmodern 80s thinking, where aesthetics and ergonomics meet. The CNC series was designed in 2012 with the aim of combining ergonomics and artistry. The products are lightweight and are made from laminate-surfaced Finnish birch plywood. The product is a prototype. The variations in the colour shade of the plywood (dark spots) and the position of the upholstery seam do not fully correspond to current production. The frame of this piece has some small scratches (see pictures). The product has no warranty and no right of exchange or return.

The CNC armchair is now made in Finland! We have updated the frame of the chair by raising it by 2 cm, due to the increase in people’s average height over the decades. At the same time, the cushions have been made 1.5 cm thicker. Otherwise, the chair follows the original drawings.
