Moomin Table is a fun and handy Moomin table. Designed by Yrjö Kukkapuro, the table is particularly well suited as a small table for a children’s room, as a living-room table or as a side table forming part of a stylish home interior. The table is white in colour, and its top is printed with the illustration familiar from Tove Jansson’s Moomin comic strip “Moomin and the Golden Tail”.
The Moomin table is part of the Moomin Furniture range of Moomin furniture, designed by Modeo and Studio Kukkapuro. The table is made of certified birch plywood, which according to Yrjö Kukkapuro is “the most lovable material in the world”. The surface of the plywood is laminated and withstands wear well. The table is made in Finland and has been awarded the Finnish Key Flag certificate and the Design from Finland mark.
The durable laminate coating of the Moomin table stays clean with basic cleaning. Use ordinary household cleaning sprays or a damp cloth for cleaning. The table can even withstand use on a balcony under a canopy, but not in direct rain. If necessary, the surfaces of the table can be cleaned with a cream cleaner, for example when coloured pencil marks appear on the surface. The laminated plywood surface of the table is pleasant and, for example, does not become statically charged in centrally heated conditions.
The product packaging is portable and compact. Package dimensions: height 49 cm, width 67 cm and depth 14 cm. The product is easy to assemble and disassemble yourself. The product is delivered in parts and comes with assembly instructions.
